Open360
Application · 360° panoramas / Android · 2026
Sweep the phone around and the sphere fills in on screen in real time. Save whenever you like.
A 360° panorama app for the phone camera that stitches on the GPU live, rejects blurred frames and exports photos with metadata for Google Photos and Facebook.
The camera frame is overlaid on the growing panorama, with a sphere grid in the empty areas. Stitching runs on OpenGL ES 3 into a 2K to 16K canvas; alignment combines an NCC search with Gauss-Newton on the sphere and corrects for rolling shutter.
Blurred frames are discarded, and a pace bar and vibration warn when you move too fast. You can paint or shoot target points automatically, capture a full sphere, the horizon band or half a panorama, and the viewer shows the result as a perspective, a little planet or in VR mode.
